I joined the hub in September, and love it! I helped to plant all these bulbs juts before Christmas and they are just now beginning to come up.

Today I put up a weather station to measure rainfall and I recorded the information to Met Office’s website. WOW – Weather Observation Website
This will help overall to check how climate change is effecting the weather.

Today I went on a photography History walk in Oldham. The Library had some interesting sculptures built into it.

The local Brook we go dog walking on is full of litter. It used to be worse. The friends of the Brook group meet regularly and litter pick but at times I can’t go.
I was surprised today with a knock at the door and Jean who leads the group brought me my own litter picker 😊
So now when we dog walk we can litter pick too – it all helps!
I went in my first bat for all tonight. We had to head out just before twilight as that’s when the bats become active and you can see them before it gets really dark.

We walked into the brook and along the canal.

We picked up their signals but didn’t spot any for a while… But then we picked up the frequency and spotted quite a few.
The bat frequency sounds like Predator… Mum was a bit scared in the dark 😂. You can here it below.

I took my camera to the park and captured the Heron on the lake. I had to be very quiet so as not to spook him. This is the closest i have ever gotten.
